Jammu, 27 September, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Surinder Choudhary, inaugurated a Mega Job Fair in Jammu under Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative aimed at empowering the youth with employment opportunities and skill development.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy CM Choudhary said, “It is our duty to create opportunities and introduce schemes that help unemployed youth find meaningful employment.” He stressed the government’s commitment to bridging the gap between job seekers and employers through targeted initiatives, industry collaboration, and vocational training programs.
The Mega Job Fair witnessed the participation of leading companies, startups, and government agencies, offering a wide range of employment avenues to young aspirants. Thousands of candidates attended the event, exploring opportunities across sectors including IT, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.
Officials highlighted that Mission YUVA is designed not only to address unemployment but also to encourage entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
