Around 3,000 players from Jammu and Kashmir were part of the Winter Sports Carnival organised by J&K Sports Council. All the players pledged to play sports in winter as well. Players said this is for the first time that winter sports programme is being held in the UT and it is a good thing. They said that events like this should keep on happening as it brings forward the talents residing in Kashmir. Children who were part of the event said this programme will give a boost to players and they were liking the concept. The coaches also remarked that the event will help children to perform well in sports and their health will stay in good condition. They requested the parents to guide their children towards sports to secure their future.
