Srinagar, August 4, 2025 – The ‘Flair Unleashed’ art exhibition, curated by the Fervent Flair Collective, commenced with vibrant enthusiasm at City Mall, Lal Chowk, Srinagar, showcasing the creative brilliance of young artists from Jammu and Kashmir. The teen-led initiative, set against the backdrop of Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage, opened its doors to art enthusiasts, highlighting a diverse array of artworks that reflect the region’s artistic legacy and contemporary innovation.
The exhibition, running through August 2025, features powerful works by emerging talents, including Bazla, whose pieces blend traditional Kashmiri aesthetics with modern expressions. Tanvir Sadiq, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, attended the opening, praising the young artists as “torchbearers of our cultural future.” He emphasized the need for platforms like Flair Unleashed to nurture local talent and elevate Kashmir’s artistic tradition on a national stage. “In a region where history breathes through art, their brilliance fills one with hope,” Sadiq remarked.
Flair Unleashed offers a dynamic space for art exhibitions, featuring paintings, digital art, and mixed-media installations that explore themes of identity, heritage, and modernity. The event aims to foster community engagement and inspire youth creativity, providing a platform for teen artists to connect with audiences and policymakers. Interactive sessions, live art demonstrations, and workshops are planned to engage visitors and promote artistic innovation.
Organizers from the Fervent Flair Collective highlighted the exhibition’s role in revitalizing Srinagar’s cultural scene, especially at City Mall, a growing hub for community activities. The event aligns with efforts to transform underutilized spaces like Sangarmaal City Mall into vibrant centers for cultural expression and youth empowerment, addressing the need for accessible creative spaces in Srinagar.
The exhibition is expected to draw significant footfall, offering free entry to encourage broader participation. It underscores the Valley’s potential as a hub for contemporary art and reinforces the importance of supporting young creatives in shaping Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural narrative.
