In a powerful and emotionally resonant address, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha delivered a message that bridged faith, patriotism, and development from the sacred land of Jammu & Kashmir. Speaking from a revered religious site, LG Sinha began by invoking Daati Maa, expressing that one collective prayer offered with purity of heart can bring immense blessings. Quoting from the Durga Saptashati, he reminded the gathering: “Yam chintayet kaamam tam-tam prapnoti nischitam”—whatever one asks with a sincere heart is surely fulfilled. While acknowledging the earlier speakers, LG Sinha emphasised a core truth: “The first line of defense for the nation is the people living in our border villages.” Reflecting on the recent Operation Sindoor, he praised the courage, unity, and sacrifice of border residents, especially during testing times. Their collective strength ensured that the impact of hostile events was minimal—something he attributed to their resilience and patriotic spirit. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of India to uplift these areas through initiatives like the Vibrant Villages Programme. LG Sinha assured the public that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized equitable development for all, especially those in border regions, who must never feel deprived of the infrastructure or civic facilities available elsewhere in the country. “We will ensure that border villages in this region are fully integrated into the development journey,” LG Sinha declared, highlighting that special directives would be issued to prioritize such areas in ongoing government missions. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the Mahajan community and all individuals who had contributed to the creation of the religious site. “This is the true spirit of Bharat,” he said, “where public participation and social collaboration drive meaningful, lasting change.” According to him, such efforts not only build temples but also strengthen community bonds and shared faith. LG Manoj Sinha expressed deep gratitude for being granted the opportunity to visit the holy site after five years. “Today, because of all of you, I received the blessings of the Mother Goddess,” he shared with emotion. “This is one of the most sacred and fulfilling moments of my life.” He concluded by announcing that the first batch of Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrims had departed earlier in the day. Praying for their safe and successful journey, he invoked divine strength for all, and pledged to continue working toward the vision of a developed, inclusive, and spiritually vibrant Jammu & Kashmir, in line with Prime Minister Modi’s aspirations. With hands folded in reverence and a heart full of resolve, LG Manoj Sinha ended with the words: “May Maa Durga bless us with strength and harmony. May the Amarnath Yatra conclude with success and safety. Together, let us build the Jammu & Kashmir that India dreams of. Jai Hind.”
