Kashmir I March 13, 2025 – Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in his inaugural address at the Spiritual & Value Education Summit held in New Delhi , called upon distinguished scholars and educators to transform the education system into a holistic framework that nurtures both intellectual growth and moral integrity among students.
Speaking at the summit, LG Manoj Sinha emphasised the transformative power of education, stating, “The real power of education is its ability to transform. Value-based education will enable students to explore their true strength, assist in character building, and inspire them for righteous living.” He urged educators to integrate these principles into the system to prepare students not just academically but also ethically for the challenges of modern society.
Highlighting the broader impact of such an approach, LG Sinha noted, “This holistic education system can take the nation on a growth trajectory and bring about the changes necessary for a developed nation.” He stressed that fully utilising the power of education and the skilled human resources of the country is key to meeting the demands of a modern society and achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat.
