BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 12: Safina Beigh, Chairperson of the District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of developmental projects, ongoing works, and the saturation of various government schemes in the Pattan Subdivision. The meeting, attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gulzar Ahmad, Block Development Officers (BDOs), Tehsildar, Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), and representatives from key departments such as Public Works Department (PDD), Public Health Engineering (PHE), and Roads and Buildings (R&B), aimed to evaluate the status of current projects and ensure timely completion of essential works across the subdivision.
During the meeting, detailed updates were provided on the progress of ongoing works, highlighting key achievements and the delivery of projects across Pattan. Safina Beigh emphasized the need for expediting the completion of these projects, especially with the winter season approaching. She specifically directed the concerned departments, including PDD, PHE, and R&B, to ensure preparedness and efficient service delivery in the face of potential winter challenges.
The Chairperson’s instructions focused on maintaining momentum in ongoing works, ensuring timely execution, and addressing any possible issues that may arise during the winter months, to minimise disruptions in public services.
