Jammu, December 12 – Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Surinder Kumar Choudhary, reiterated the government’s commitment to establishing an effective governance ecosystem aimed at swiftly addressing public grievances. The Deputy Chief Minister made these remarks during a series of interactions with deputations who called on him to raise various issues concerning their respective sectors and communities.
During the meeting, a deputation of Diploma Engineers presented concerns regarding their career progression. Another group from the National Health Mission (NHM) raised issues related to regularization, salary hikes, formulation of service bye-laws, and the inclusion of financial assistance (Golden Handshake) for employees.
Additionally, a delegation from the Federation of Chamber of Industries, Kashmir, brought up several challenges faced by the industrial sector in Jammu and Kashmir. Representatives from the All Kashmiri Muslim Migrant Committee also submitted a memorandum, seeking an enhancement in relief packages, cash assistance disbursements, and addressing other related issues.
Several legislators and former Sarpanchs from various areas also took the opportunity to present development-related concerns from their respective constituencies.
Responding to the issues raised, the Deputy Chief Minister assured the deputations that their genuine concerns would be promptly addressed. “The government is dedicated to ensuring the effective resolution of public issues and will continue to work towards an efficient and responsive governance system,” he assured.
