Katra, March 5,2026- The 9-day Skill Enhancement Training Programme on Vedic Rituals for local Pujaris concluded today at SMVD Gurukul, organized by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. The initiative, undertaken as per the directions of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Manoj Sinha, aimed to strengthen traditional knowledge and skills among temple priests in the region.
During the programme, participants received training in Panchang, Muhurat, Mantra pronunciation, and other traditional Karam Kand practices, ensuring the preservation and proper conduct of religious rituals at local temples. The training also focused on enhancing accuracy in Vedic rituals, cultural knowledge, and religious services for devotees visiting the shrine.
Officials announced that more batches of the training programme will be conducted under the initiative, providing additional opportunities for local Pujaris to enhance their skills in traditional Vedic practices and temple rituals.
