23 tons of subsidised urea seized in Pulwama raid by enforcement wing of J&K Agriculture

A team of enforcement wing of Agriculture Department of J&K raided the premises of Allied Plywood Industry in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. Around 400 bags (23 tons) of subsidised urea were seized during the inspection. The inspection was led by Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal. We will not let any wrongdoing happen in Kashmir. It does not matter even if we have to pay with our lives. The aim is to curb black marketing and use of subsidised fertilisers for industrial purposes. There is a standard law and for this act legal action will be taken, said Iqbal, Director Agriculture.
