Poonch, May 9,2026- Under the Bal Vigyanik Scheme implemented through the National Council of Educational Research and Training, the Education Department organised a zone-level science competition at High School Banwat in Poonch district.
District Education Planning Officer Neelam Kumari inaugurated the event and emphasised the importance of promoting scientific temperament, creativity, and research-based learning among students.
Students from various schools participated enthusiastically in the competition and showcased innovative science models and projects based on modern themes, environmental awareness, and practical applications.
The event aimed to encourage young minds to develop problem-solving skills and strengthen their interest in science and innovation. Teachers and education officials appreciated the creativity and efforts of the participating students.
The competition also provided a platform for students to exchange ideas, demonstrate talent, and gain exposure to scientific learning beyond classrooms.
