Udhampur, February 28,2026-: The District Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament was successfully held at Government Degree College Boys, Udhampur, bringing together 150 selected participants to deliberate on the theme: “50 Years of Emergency – Lessons for Indian Democracy.”
Serving as the nodal institution, the college facilitated meaningful dialogue among students, focusing on shaping the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 and encouraging youth participation in nation-building and democratic processes.

The event was inaugurated by MLA Udhampur West, Pawan Kumar Gupta, alongside the Deputy Director of Mera Yuva Bharat (Department of Youth Affairs), Principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and faculty members.
