Baramulla, November 28,2025:The 7th District Baramulla Karate Championship 2025 concluded successfully at the Indoor Stadium Baramulla, marking yet another milestone in the district’s efforts to promote martial arts, youth empowerment, and sports excellence. The closing ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi, whose participation added dignity and motivation to the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, officials highlighted the growing popularity of karate and martial arts training among the youth of Baramulla, reflecting a positive shift towards discipline, physical fitness, and competitive spirit.
As the District President, Karate Association Baramulla, I expressed immense pride in the exceptional performance, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed by the participating athletes. Their remarkable skill and mental focus showcased the true essence of martial arts and the promising potential of young talent in the district.
A special note of gratitude was extended to Shri Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi for his encouraging words and unwavering support for sports development in Baramulla. The event’s success was made possible through the dedicated efforts of coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and particularly General Secretary Mr. Moin Hameed, whose coordination and leadership were instrumental in organising the championship.
The 2025 edition of the District Championship once again reaffirmed Baramulla’s commitment to nurturing young athletes and promoting a vibrant sports culture.
