Kashmir Ahead

Youth poster & slogan contest under Nasha Mukt Drive

Kashmir, April 7,2026- In a significant push towards raising awareness against substance abuse, the Department of Information and Public Relations J&K has announced Talent Vista 2026, a creative initiative featuring Poster Making and Slogan/Caption Writing competitions under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan.

The initiative aims to engage youth across Jammu and Kashmir, encouraging them to use art and words as powerful tools to spread the message of a drug-free society. With the growing need to combat drug abuse, the competition provides a platform for young minds to express their ideas, concerns, and solutions through creative expression.

Participants are invited to design impactful posters and craft compelling slogans or captions that reflect the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthier, addiction-free lifestyle. The campaign aligns with the government’s broader vision to curb drug addiction and sensitize communities, especially the younger generation.

Officials from DIPR J&K emphasized that Talent Vista 2026 is not just a competition, but a movement to amplify voices that stand against drugs. “Creative expression has the power to influence society. Through this initiative, we aim to channel the energy and ideas of our youth towards a meaningful cause,” an official statement noted.

The competition is open to students and young individuals from across the Union Territory, with attractive prizes and recognition awaiting the winners. Selected entries may also be featured in official awareness campaigns, giving participants a chance to contribute directly to public outreach efforts.

The Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan has been actively working to educate people about the harmful effects of drugs, promote rehabilitation, and encourage community participation in eradicating substance abuse. Initiatives like Talent Vista 2026 further strengthen this mission by involving the creative community in spreading awareness.

Interested participants are encouraged to register through official channels and submit their entries within the stipulated deadlines.
