Young girls in village Tahab, Pulwama join Tilla embroidery centre to meet their expenses

A plain shawl is not so attractive as compared to a shawl with embroidery work. There are 20 females here in Tahab village, Pulwama. We have come here to earn, said a Till work embroiderer. Girls’ expenses are very high. We thought why should we sit at home idle. It is better that we earn with our own hands. And we should meet our own expenses. Tourists appreciate Till work embroidery. We are creating Tilla work embroidery on shawls at this centre in Tahab, Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir.
