Jammu/Srinagar, March 4, 2025 – Commissioner Secretary Tourism, Yasha Mudgal, chaired a high-level meeting today to review the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Budget 2024-25 of the Tourism Department. The session focused on optimizing fund utilization, ensuring effective project execution, and elevating the visitor experience across Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism landscape.
Mudgal underscored the importance of completing ongoing tourism projects on schedule, calling for transparent financial planning and streamlined administrative processes to maximize efficiency. “Our goal is to enhance the tourism ecosystem while ensuring every rupee is spent judiciously to benefit both visitors and local communities,” she emphasized during the meeting.
