The Vande Bharat train has benefitted us a lot, said locals in Jammu & Kashmir. Earlier we used to travel by car and it would take eight to10 hours to travel. Sometimes it rains, sometimes mountains slide, sometimes it is cold, sometimes it is sunny, sometimes there is traffic jam, so we have benefited a lot from Vande Bharat India Rail. We reach Srinagar from Jammu in a few hours.
It was exciting to board the train It made everything easier, before we had to take buses and all. The connectivity has also increased, said a female.
Kashmir is a favourite tourist destination and tourist inflow has increased with the extension of Vande Bharat train. The locals associated with the train service like cab owners, hotel owners have had a positive impact. And the economy will get a major boost.
