Kashmir, May 7, 2026-Volleyball matches were organised at Government High School Tulli as part of the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, aimed at spreading awareness against drug abuse and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among youth.
The event saw active participation from students and local youngsters, who enthusiastically took part in the matches promoting sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline. The initiative highlighted the importance of engaging youth in positive and constructive activities to steer them away from substance abuse.
Organisers said sports play a vital role in building confidence, unity and mental strength among young people. Through the volleyball tournament, participants were encouraged to adopt a drug-free lifestyle and contribute towards building a healthier and stronger society.
Teachers, staff members and community representatives appreciated the initiative and stressed the need for continuous awareness programmes under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir campaign. They also encouraged students to become ambassadors of the anti-drug movement in their communities.
The programme concluded with participants pledging to spread the message of “Say No to Drugs” and inspire others to choose fitness, positivity and healthy living.
