Vishwakarma Scheme Boosts Skill Development in J&K | Trainees Rewarded Rs 500 Daily Allowance In these changing times, training, technology and tools are very necessary for our Vishwakarma brothers and sisters, said our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in a public speech. The government has laid great emphasis on providing training to all of you through Vishwakarma Yojana, the PM said. Even during training, you will be given an allowance of Rs 500 per day by the government, PM stated. We are deeply thankful to Modi ji because the scheme Vishwakarma that he has launched is very beneficial for us, said women in Jammu & Kashmir. We used to do Tilla work sitting at home, we used to do shawl work, now with this scheme and we can start some business of our own, said women hopefully. Like we can open a good boutique, stand on our own feet and support our parents. If we can support them then this scheme is very beneficial for us, women pointed out in J&K. Earlier we used to sit at home. Educated girls also used to sit at home. Now what we have learned in sewing, cutting and tailoring workshop is very beneficial for us. We are wholeheartedly thankful to the government. Now we have learnt the work of cutting and tailoring, it is in great demand, so we are heartily thankful that we are getting five days of training from PM Vishwakarma scheme, our food and drinks will be taken care of during the training and we will get Rs 500 per day. At the training workshop, our cutting and stitching will also be given attention so that we can learn the art, said women in J&K.
