Srinagar, October 2025: The Srinagar-Katra Vande Bharat Express will have a scheduled stopover at Reasi starting from October 29, officials announced on Friday. This move aims to improve connectivity for passengers traveling between Srinagar, Katra, and Reasi, making journeys faster and more convenient.
Passengers can now board or deboard the Vande Bharat Express at Reasi station, facilitating smoother travel for locals and tourists heading towards the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Authorities highlighted that the addition of the Reasi stop aligns with efforts to enhance rail infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir and promote regional accessibility.
