Srinagar, November 01, 2025: In a vibrant display of India’s cultural mosaic, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha graced the Foundation Day celebrations of 13 States and Union Territories at Raj Bhawan today. The event highlighted unity in diversity, cultural bonding, and the shared vision for a Viksit Bharat.The commemorated regions included Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.LG Calls for Strengthening Cultural and Spiritual BondsAddressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor urged citizens to fortify cultural and spiritual bonds, celebrate India’s shared legacy, and foster a unified Indian identity.
“The Foundation Day Celebration of different States and UTs is a key mechanism of cultural bonding. It symbolises unity in diversity and shared trust. Our unity is the invisible power, enabling us to work with a shared vision of a strong and Viksit Bharat,” Shri Manoj Sinha stated.
He further emphasized the transformative potential of India’s diversity:
“I strongly believe that cultural, spiritual and emotional bonds forged across different languages and cultures of our great country Bharat can act as a most powerful engine for progress. We must transform our diversity into a multiplier force of resilience and innovation to achieve the collective goal of peace, progress and prosperity.”
Cultural Performances Enthrall AudienceThe Lieutenant Governor lauded artists for their captivating presentations of folk songs and folk dancesrepresenting the diverse States and Union Territories.Special invitees included officials from civil and police administration, students, and representatives from Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.The event underscored Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiatives, promoting national integration, emotional unity, and collective progress toward a developed India.
