Unity Run in Bhaderwah promotes drug awareness & spring tourism

Bhaderwah I March 23, 2025 – The Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a ‘UNITY RUN’ in Bhaderwah to raise awareness against drug abuse and support the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ initiative, a national campaign aimed at saving and educating the girl child. The event, held on a crisp Sunday morning, drew participants from across the region, blending social advocacy with community engagement.

Harvinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Doda, flagged off the run and emphasized its broader significance. “This event not only addresses critical social issues like drug abuse and gender equality but also marks the start of the spring tourism season in Bhaderwah,” Singh stated.
