Jammu, November 22, 2025 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with growth reaching all sections of society in a balanced and inclusive manner.
Addressing a gathering of officials and community representatives, Sinha highlighted that infrastructure, connectivity, social welfare schemes, and economic initiatives have accelerated significantly across the Union Territory. He emphasised that these efforts reflect the vision of PM Modi for a modern, equitable, and self-reliant J&K.
“Under PM Modi, Jammu and Kashmir is not only transforming its infrastructure but also ensuring that every citizen benefits from development,” Sinha said. He pointed out initiatives such as the digitization of government services, expansion of road and rail connectivity, and strengthened social welfare programmes, which have made governance more efficient, transparent, and people-centric.
Sinha also praised the inclusion of marginalised communities in key government schemes, stating that “inclusive growth is at the heart of every developmental initiative in J&K.” He added that reforms in sectors like education, health, and agriculture have provided new opportunities for youth, women, and farmers, helping bridge long-standing developmental gaps.
The LG highlighted landmark projects such as the Chenab Railway Bridge and modern highways connecting remote areas, calling them symbols of progress and engineering excellence. He said that these initiatives are fostering economic growth, tourism, and employment, ensuring that development reaches every corner of the Union Territory.
Concluding his remarks, Sinha expressed confidence that under PM Modi’s leadership, Jammu and Kashmir is on a steady path toward becoming a developed, inclusive, and self-reliant region, where growth and opportunities are accessible to all citizens.
