Srinagar, December 14,2025:In an inspiring example of resilience and self-reliance, twin sisters Fatima and Soliha from Srinagar are quietly redefining courage through hard work, education, and entrepreneurship. Amid personal and social challenges, the sisters have taken responsibility for their family’s well-being while continuing to pursue their individual aspirations.
With no brother to depend on, the twins chose independence over helplessness. Fatima, currently studying in Class 10, is preparing for her board examinations with an ambitious goal of appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), aspiring to build a career in medicine. Alongside her academic commitments, she contributes to managing daily responsibilities at home.
Her twin sister Soliha, a graduate, has stepped into a leadership role within the family. She manages a small business that supports the household, balancing economic responsibility with perseverance and dignity. Her efforts have ensured financial stability while encouraging her sister to continue her education without compromise.
Their journey stands as a powerful reminder that empowerment begins with self-belief and determination. In a region often highlighted for its challenges, Fatima and Soliha’s story reflects the strength and rising aspirations of young women in Kashmir.
Their achievement is not a call for sympathy, but a testament to self-made resilience, showcasing how education, responsibility, and willpower can transform lives. As they move forward, the twin sisters symbolise a new narrative—one of Kashmir’s daughters rising with confidence and purpose.
