Jammu, March 27,2026-The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited has inaugurated a vibrant tribal products exhibition in Jammu, aimed at promoting the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of indigenous communities across India.
The exhibition features a wide array of handcrafted items, including traditional jewellery, handwoven textiles, intricate metal crafts, eco-friendly bamboo products, and tribal paintings, drawing attention from art lovers, tourists, and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasanna Ramaswamy подчеркнул the government’s sustained efforts to empower tribal artisans by providing them with better market access and visibility. He emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in preserving traditional art forms while enhancing the livelihoods of tribal communities.
Officials also revealed plans to expand similar exhibitions to other regions, including Kashmir, to further strengthen outreach and support for artisans through various welfare schemes and marketing platforms.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to promoting tribal entrepreneurship, sustainable livelihoods, and cultural preservation, while connecting artisans directly with consumers through exhibitions and outreach programmes.
