Srinagar,December 13, 2025:In a heartfelt gesture of recognition and support, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha handed over job appointment letters to the families of terror victims in Srinagar. The initiative is aimed at providing financial stability and honoring the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in acts of terrorism.
During the ceremony, LG Sinha emphasised that these appointments are not just jobs but a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the martyrs. “The government remains committed to standing by the families of our heroes and ensuring that their children and dependents have secure livelihoods,” he said.
Officials noted that the program is part of a broader scheme by the Jammu and Kashmir administration to support families affected by militancy, ensuring they receive education, employment, and other welfare benefits. The initiative also highlights the administration’s focus on empowering the youth and strengthening social security mechanisms.
The families expressed gratitude to LG Sinha and the administration for recognizing the sacrifices of their loved ones and providing them with meaningful employment opportunities.
