Srinagar, November 12,2025: A delegation of the Traders Association Central Lal Chowk, Srinagar, led by its President Feroz Ahmad Baba, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed various welfare and business-related issues concerning the traders’ community.
The delegation apprised the LG of key challenges faced by shopkeepers and small business owners in the city’s commercial hub, including demands related to infrastructure improvement, market facilities, and support schemes.
Later, a delegation from the Traders Federation Bandipora, headed by its President Ali Mohammad Hajam, also met the Lieutenant Governor and raised matters concerning economic revival, trader welfare, and local market development in the district.
The LG assured both delegations that their genuine concerns would be examined and addressed in a time-bound manner, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to supporting the business community and promoting trade-friendly reforms across Jammu and Kashmir.
