Tiranga Rally in Tral: A Celebration of Unity and Patriotism

In Tral, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, a historic mega Tiranga Rally took place, organized by the district administration as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. Led by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom, alongside Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral, Sajid Naqash, MLA Tral, Rafiq Ahmad Naik, and other officials, the rally saw thousands of participants, including youth, students, government employees, and local residents, proudly carrying the Indian Tricolour. Starting at Bajwani Sports Stadium and concluding at the Tral Bus Stand, the rally filled the streets with patriotic fervour, with participants chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and singing national songs, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride.The Tiranga Rally in Tral was more than a celebration of India’s independence; it was a powerful statement of equality, freedom, and national unity, aligning with the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. For the first time in Tral’s history, such a large-scale rally was held, a milestone attributed to the efforts of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who has fostered a changing Kashmir where patriotic events are now embraced. As one local expressed, “We are thrilled that Tral has witnessed a Tiranga Rally, something unheard of before. This is only possible due to LG Manoj Sinha’s efforts.” The rally, part of a broader movement across Jammu and Kashmir, reflects the region’s commitment to communal harmony and collective identity, with participants pledging to contribute to the nation’s progress and peace.The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, driven by the Ministry of Culture, encourages citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes and share selfies on the HGT portal, symbolizing patriotism and honoring the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
