In these nine years, big changes have happened in Jammu and Kashmir -around one lakh crore highway and tunnel projects of the Government of India are getting constructed in Jammu and Kashmir. This year Kashmir is getting connected to KanyaKumari via railways. For the 1 crore 30 lakh residents of Kashmir, this is a new beginning for a changed life. We have tried to build a great environment for the investors. The government of India has crafted a new industrial scheme- J&K Industrial Policy 2021- for Jammu and Kashmir. No state in the country has as much incentive for industry as it does in Jammu and Kashmir. PM Narendra Modi had done the ground breaking ceremony of 38,000 crore projects in Kashmir. We have an increasing need for land availability. The captured government lands are being rescued. Big lands will be used for industries and small lands will be utilised as playgrounds for Jammu and Kashmir youth. We are also going to give land to our Kashmiri Muslims for burial. The government land will stay with the government, said the Lieutenant Governor.
