Srinagar, November 11,2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday highlighted India’s remarkable progress in building a resilient and dynamic technology ecosystem, asserting that the country has emerged as a global innovation hub despite facing multiple global challenges.
Speaking at a technology conclave, LG Sinha said that India’s digital transformation journey, driven by visionary leadership and grassroots innovation, has redefined the nation’s global standing in the technology sector. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has not only embraced innovation but has made it a cornerstone of inclusive growth,” he stated.
He emphasised that the Digital India Mission, startup revolution, and strong policy support have created a thriving environment for entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and fintech. “India’s young innovators are leading the world in creating sustainable tech solutions that address local as well as global challenges,” LG Sinha added.
Highlighting the role of Jammu and Kashmir in this transformation, he said the Union Territory is actively nurturing a vibrant startup ecosystem through innovation centres, incubation hubs, and skill development programs. “We are building a new future powered by technology, transparency, and talent,” the LG remarked.
The event witnessed participation from industry leaders, academicians, and young entrepreneurs who shared insights on emerging technologies, innovation policy, and digital inclusion.
LG Sinha reiterated the government’s commitment to empower youth with digital skills, promote research and innovation, and ensure technology-driven governance. “India’s technology ecosystem is not just surviving global disruptions — it is setting new benchmarks for growth, inclusion, and resilience,” he concluded.
