Srinagar, October 14,2025:The team of the upcoming Punjabi film ‘Raavi de Kande’ called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha . The film, which showcases the pristine and scenic beauty of Basohli and Katra, has highlighted Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural and natural landscapes on the big screen.
During the meeting, the filmmakers expressed their appreciation for the support extended by the J&K government in facilitating shooting across the picturesque locations. LG Sinha lauded the team for promoting the tourism potential and rich heritage of Jammu and Kashmir through cinema, emphasising the role of films in showcasing the region’s culture, traditions, and natural beauty to a wider audience.
The Lieutenant Governor also encouraged filmmakers to explore more of J&K’s untapped locations, highlighting the Union Territory’s potential as a premier destination for film shoots and creative projects.
