Teachers of J&K Felicitated | Gratitude, Inspiration & A Call for Experiential Learning Shefani Gupta, a Teacher in Jammu & Kashmir said she was grateful to the Jammu & Kashmir Government for awarding and honouring state teachers. Thanks to the department, they appreciated our efforts and what we wanted to give to the children. J&K teacher Irfana Nazki said she felt so happy for being honoured and was really thankful to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, Director School Education Department and all the dignitaries for this cherished event. Deeba, STD of GVS Kothibagh said here a Teachers’ Day programme was being celebrated in Srinagar and the honourable LG had graced the occasion. He gave a very good speech which inspired us a lot. We held a programme on the National Emblem of India. Teacher Shefani Gupta said quoting LG that in today’s time we have to become the facilitator of students. AI is there too, but the touch that we can give as teachers to children, no one else can give it. We may even give a little bit of scolding to our children, but when our children go into some field after studying, they remember that Ma’am your scolding came to use and because of that we were successful. We are focusing on learning-based activities, on new experiential-based activities, education-based technologies which NEP 2020 says. My efforts were appreciated and I am thankful to the stage, Shefani Gupta said. Teachers should be determined towards the whole nation and be responsible and everything is possible in this world, message from teachers to their fraternity.
