Sunderbani, October 17,2025: In a spirited initiative to spread awareness about the drug abuse, a cricket match was organised in Sunderbani under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. The event ,held under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramkesh Sharma , brought together players and spectators united by a common message – a Drug Free India
Before the match began, participants took a pledge to stay away from drugs and to encourage others to lead healthy , productive and responsible lives . The event emphasised the importance of sports , community engagement , and awarness capmaigns in curbing the rising threat of substance abuse among youth
officials noted that such initiatives under the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign are vital in fostering a culture of disipline , health and positivity , ensuring a brighter future for the younger generation
