Jammu, August 9,2026-A special yoga session was organised at the Tawi Riverfront by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in collaboration with the Vishwa Yoga Sansthan.
Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, JMC Commissioner Devansh Yadav, SSP Jammu Joginder Singh and other senior officials attended the session, which was led by Yoga Guru Acharya Dr. Karan Ji.
Participants practised yoga asanas, pranayama and meditation, with officials encouraging citizens to incorporate yoga into their daily routines for better physical and mental well-being.
JMC Commissioner Devansh Yadav said efforts are underway to revive year-round activities at the Tawi Riverfront as the arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra wind down. He also invited the people of Jammu to visit the riverfront with their families and make use of the space for fitness, recreation and healthy activities.
