Special Vande Bharat train with 20 coaches to operate on Jammu–Srinagar route

Kashmir, April 25,2026- In a significant step toward strengthening rail connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir, a special 20-coach Vande Bharat Express is set to operate on the Jammu–Srinagar route, offering enhanced capacity and improved travel experience for passengers.

According to officials, the introduction of the extended train configuration is aimed at addressing the rising passenger demand, particularly during peak travel seasons and major pilgrimage periods.
