Baramulla, 29 September 2025: In a significant move to strengthen public engagement and address citizen concerns, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, chaired a Mega Public Outreach-cum-Grievance Camp at Tujar, Sopore under the ongoing #SewaParv initiative.
The programme commenced with a plantation drive, where the DC personally planted a sapling at the Community Hall premises, symbolising the commitment towards a greener and cleaner environment. The plantation drive aimed at raising environmental awareness and promoting community participation in sustainable practices.
During the camp, citizens from various areas presented their grievances and suggestions directly to the administration, ensuring transparent governance and timely redressal of public issues. Officials emphasised the importance of such camps in fostering citizen-administration interaction, highlighting the government’s commitment to public service and social welfare.
The initiative also included awareness sessions on sanitation, health, and civic responsibilities, further reinforcing the ethos of Sewa Parv—serving society with dedication and responsibility.
