Srinagar, October 18,2025: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday handed over a critical care ambulance to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, strengthening emergency medical care facilities in the state.
The advanced ambulance is all fitted with life-supporting high-tech machinery, allowing for the quick transportation and treatment of critically sick patients. The authorities at SKIMS received the Chief Minister warmly for giving importance to the health infrastructure and offering world-class medical facilities to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Describing the role, CM Omar Abdullah reiterated his government’s commitment to improving the health system, enhancing the emergency response system, and providing quality and affordable medical care to everyone.
