Doda, January 5,2026- Fresh snowfall in the scenic town of Bhaderwah has led to a significant rise in tourist arrivals, prompting authorities to tighten security across major tourist locations in the region. The enhanced security measures aim to ensure the safety of visitors and maintain a peaceful environment during the peak winter tourism season.
Tourists from different parts of the country have been flocking to Bhaderwah to experience snowfall and celebrate the New Year, with hotels and local businesses witnessing increased activity. Security personnel, including the Indian Army and local police, have been deployed at key points to manage crowds and provide assistance to visitors.
Visitors have expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements. Tourist Dharmendra Sharma praised the efforts of the Indian Army, saying, “All the credit goes to the Indian Army. I suggest everyone visit Bhaderwah during the New Year. The Indian Army is taking care of everyone.”
Local authorities said that continuous monitoring and coordinated efforts are in place to ensure smooth movement of tourists and to prevent any untoward incidents. The snowfall has not only enhanced Bhaderwah’s appeal as a winter destination but has also provided a boost to the local tourism-driven economy.
