Srinagar, 29 September 2025: The Indian Army organised a free Medical and Dental Camp at Chattabal, Srinagar, providing much-needed healthcare facilities to the local population. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response as more than 300 residents benefitted from free health checkups, blood tests, dental care, and medical consultations.
Army doctors and paramedics extended their services with dedication, ensuring that people received not only immediate medical attention but also guidance on preventive healthcare. The initiative was particularly welcomed by senior citizens, women, and children who often face difficulty accessing specialised healthcare in the area.
Residents expressed gratitude for the Army’s selfless service and humanitarian efforts, calling the camp a step towards building trust and strengthening the bond between the Army and the people of Kashmir.
Local elders highlighted that such initiatives by the Indian Army in Kashmir not only provide essential medical assistance but also reflect the Army’s commitment to the well-being of the community.
The event concluded with the promise of holding similar healthcare outreach programs in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley in the future.
