Under the Smart Budgam campaign, a number of important projects started with the e-Inauguration by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. Projects for which the foundation stone has been laid and projects dedicated to the service of citizens are: e-Inauguration of Public Parks around Charisharief shrine, eInauguration of New Type Primary Health Centre Choon and Transit Accommodation at Kakanmaran, Budgam. LG heartily congratulated all the residents of Budgam, all public representatives, enlightened citizens and Budgam district administration. This is a sign coming from not only Jammu and Srinagar but our small towns that they should also become aspirational cities, LG said. The people here have also got aspirations in them. The projects which are being started for the beautification of Budgam city are installing 1600 street lights, selfie point, display board, park, watch tower, upgradation of new bus stand and upgradation of Budgam stadium. These initiatives that will give a facelift to Budgam, said LG. And it will also inspire the citizens here to enhance their creativity. This kind of initiative instills in people the desire to do many positive things. New goals, new resolutions are also created from this. Efforts have been made to develop people according to their needs. And every class should get the benefit of development. The Honourable Prime Minister says, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and everyone’s faith and everyone’s effort. When everyone’s efforts will be there only then there will be development. If we all move forward by making this basic mantra the basis, then social and economic development will definitely happen, LG said. All of you are working on effective schemes in which every class, city and village is being connected. This is not just the construction of Budgam, in a way, it is the construction of the entire Jammu and Kashmir, the entire nation, LG stated. And it’s getting better with your participation, he said to the residents of Budgam. Along with this, I also want to make a request to all my brothers and sisters. The stronger the sense of progress, peace, mutual brotherhood in your mind, I think the development work will be done at the same speed, LG said. This spirit can lead us towards good governance and can also help in making development the only objective of the society.
