Ganderbal, March 31,2026- Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ganderbal organised a one-day training-cum-awareness programme on smart farming and skill development in agriculture at BHS Khalmulla.
The programme aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world agricultural practices while equipping participants with practical skills and modern farming techniques.
Experts and resource persons highlighted the importance of adopting smart farming methods, including the use of technology-driven solutions, sustainable practices, and efficient resource management to enhance productivity and income.
Participants, including students and local farmers, were sensitised about the latest trends in agriculture, innovation in farming practices, and opportunities for skill development in the sector.
