Srinagar, October 2, 2025: In a significant push towards skill development and employment generation in Jammu and Kashmir, Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (RDD&PR), Mohammad Aijaz Asad, inaugurated Kaushal Parv 2025 and flagged off the Kaushal Rath under the Himayat 2.0 programme.
The initiative, held with the participation of over 250 youth from across J&K, witnessed active engagement from 17 top recruiters including global and national companies such as PepsiCo, Domino’s, and Coca-Cola, who offered job opportunities to trained youth. Several participants were successfully placed on the spot during the event, marking a major step forward in linking skill training with direct employment.
