It was a true honour to attend the 6th Annual Day Celebration of the GCC , a youth organisation that has become a beacon of inspiration and a role model for the nation. The event, graced by the presence of J&K Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, showcased the tireless efforts of the volunteers who are relentlessly working towards the betterment of youth in the region. Their dedication to skill development and coaching is commendable, and it is clear that their work is shaping a brighter future for the young minds of Jammu and Kashmir .
As I stood among the vibrant crowd, I was filled with hope and pride. The youth of J&K possess immense potential, and it is heartening to see organisations like GCC providing them with the tools and guidance needed to unlock that potential. My vision for the youth of J&K is one of strength, courage, and resilience. I want them to be daring, adventurous, and unshakably strong in their morals and ideals.
It is essential that the youth of today carry the torch of our rich heritage and values while embracing the advancements of modern science and technology. Our society’s progress and inclusive development largely hinge on ,the productivity and creativity of its youth. Therefore, empowering them with both traditional wisdom and modern knowledge is key to ensuring sustainable growth.
I firmly believe that the youth must lead by example, showing the world how to balance age-old traditional values with the tools of modernity. Their efforts should not only focus on personal growth but also on contributing to the society around them.
To realise the envisioned progress for J&K, it is imperative that we focus on securing the health and well-being of our youth at the local level. Healthy and capable individuals are the backbone of any thriving society, and GCC is working diligently alongside the local administration, led by Shri Manoj Sinha, to lay the foundation for a healthier, more prosperous future. Their focus on building infrastructure and providing high-quality coaching will undoubtedly play a critical role in this journey.
In his address, LG Shri Manoj Sinha emphasised the importance of youth empowerment in shaping the future of J&K, and the ongoing support of the administration to strengthen initiatives that uplift the young generation. Under his leadership, the government is committed to creating opportunities for youth, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to excel in all spheres of life.
As we move forward, I am confident that the work being done by organisations like GCC, supported by the administration, will continue to inspire and motivate the youth of J&K to reach new heights, ensuring that they lead the way toward a brighter, more prosperous future for the region and beyond. The future of J&K is in the hands of its youth, and I am certain that they will rise to the challenge, armed with knowledge, tradition, and an unwavering commitment to progress.
