RAMBAN, JANUARY 14: SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute Ramban celebrated the festival of Lohri with the trainees of its ongoing Women’s Tailoring Training Program, along with staff and prominent citizens of Ward No. 2, at the RSETI campus.
Director S. Harvinder Singh extended heartfelt Lohri greetings, emphasizing the festival’s significance as a symbol of new beginnings, prosperity, and unity. He highlighted RSETI’s commitment to empowering individuals through skill development, while also fostering a sense of community and cultural pride.
The celebration featured traditional Lohri customs, including the lighting of a bonfire, singing folk songs, and distributing festive treats. The women trainees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the event, which not only boosted their confidence but also strengthened their sense of belonging and community spirit.
