Kashmir Ahead

Sangaldan’s new Steel Bridge promises seamless travel in Ramban

Kashmir , December 8,2025-The 45-meter-long, 12-meter-wide double-lane steel superstructure bridge in the Sangaldan area of Gool tehsil, Ramban district, is now in its final stages of construction, bringing much-needed relief to local residents.

Previously, the Chapri Nallah used to overflow during rains, repeatedly disrupting connectivity between Ramban–Gool–Sangaldan and Mahore. This caused significant difficulties for patients, students, and employees, affecting daily life and emergency travel.

With the new bridge nearing completion, authorities expect uninterrupted travel in the region soon, enhancing road safety, accessibility, and convenience for the local population. The bridge is also expected to boost regional development and facilitate smoother transportation of goods and services.
