Srinagar, October 15, 2025: Minister Sakeena Itoo flagged off the Red Run 2025 in Srinagar, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting healthy lifestyles among youth. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 800 students across the region.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Itoo emphasised the critical role of young people in tackling drug abuse and other pressing social challenges. She encouraged students to lead by example and adopt positive lifestyle choices that contribute to a healthier society.
The Red Run 2025 saw students running through key routes in Srinagar, symbolizing solidarity with those affected by HIV/AIDS and advocating for awareness, prevention, and inclusion. Organizers noted the event as a significant step in engaging youth in social initiatives and promoting community health consciousness.
