Jammu, January 19,2026- Sachin Lalotra, a student of Learning Temple High School, who has participated in the Singing and Essay Writing Competitions on “Vande Mataram” being organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu & Kashmir, has appealed to students below 18 years of age to actively take part in the competitions.
Sharing his views, Sachin said that “Vande Mataram” is not only India’s National Song but also a symbol of the nation’s identity. He added that such competitions provide a meaningful platform for students to express their patriotism, creativity, and thoughts, while also strengthening their understanding of national values.
Sachin further informed that the last date for uploading entries is January 20, and urged students across Jammu and Kashmir to participate in large numbers. He emphasized that initiatives like these encourage young minds to engage positively with art, culture, and national heritage.
The competitions organised by DIPR J&K aim to promote patriotic awareness and creative expression among students, especially the youth, ahead of national celebrations.
