Republic Day 2025 Full Dress Rehearsals Held Across Jammu Division

On January 24, 2025, Full Dress Rehearsals for the 76th Republic Day celebrations were held across the Jammu Division, showcasing vibrant displays of patriotism, cultural traditions, and disciplined military parades.

In Kathua, the rehearsal took place at the Sports Stadium, where Additional District Development Commissioner Surinder Mohan took the salute at an impressive march-past. The parade included contingents from the Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC cadets, and a Police Band. Students also presented a captivating cultural program with performances celebrating patriotism, folk traditions, and cultural heritage. ADC Ranjit Singh, ASP Rahul Charak, and CPO Ranjit Thakur were among the dignitaries present at the event.

In Poonch, the Full Dress Rehearsal was held at the Sports Stadium, where ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik hoisted the National Flag and took the salute during the parade. The parade showcased contingents from the Police, CRPF, and local schools. Additional Superintendent of Police Mohan Lal Sharma joined ADC Malik to oversee the proceedings, while Deputy Superintendent of Police Sayed Aqeel Shah commanded the parade.

At Doda, the rehearsal began with the hoisting of the National Flag by ADC Sudershan Kumar, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The parade featured contingents from the police, paramilitary forces, and local schools, all demonstrating excellent coordination. In nearby Kotli Bhaderwah, Tehsildar Kamal Preet Singh unfurled the National Flag at the New Bus Stand and took the salute as contingents from the JK Armed Police, NCC, and local schools participated in the march-past.

In Reasi, the Full Dress Rehearsal took place at the General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, where ADC Rakesh Kumar took the salute at a march-past consisting of contingents from the Police, CRPF, NCC platoons, and schools. Students presented a spirited cultural program, featuring patriotic songs, folk dances, and skits with messages of social awakening. The event was attended by various district officials, including ACR Anshumali Sharma, ASP Iftkhar, and DySP Neeraj Padyar.

At Kishtwar’s Chowgan Ground, ADC Pawan Kotwal hoisted the tricolor and took the salute at a grand march-past. The parade included contingents from the CRPF, Police, CISF, IRP, NCC, and schoolchildren. The event also featured cultural performances that captivated the audience, with key attendees including ASP Pawan Sharma and PO ICDS Rishi Kumar Sharma.

In Udhampur, the Full Dress Rehearsal was held at the Government PG College Boys’ campus, where ADC Rajinder Singh hoisted the National Flag and took the salute at an impressive parade consisting of contingents from the District Police, SKPA, ITBP, NCC, and others. Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan, and other district officials were present.

At Rajouri, the rehearsal was conducted at the District Police Lines, where ADC Rajiv Kumar Khajuria unfurled the National Flag and took the salute at a parade that included contingents from the CRPF, IRP, JKP, FPF, and local schools. The ADC also reviewed the march-past and band drill. The event was attended by ASP Vikram Kumar, DSEO Sandeep Sharma, and other key officials.

In Ramban, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak unfurled the National Flag and took the salute at the Full Dress Rehearsal at the District Police Lines. The parade featured contingents from the Police, IRP, Forest Protection Force, and a Women’s Contingent of the J&K Police. Students and local artists also performed cultural programs, adding a festive spirit to the occasion. Key attendees included Additional SP Gourav Mahajan, ACR S. Harpal Singh, and ACP Ashfaq Ahmed.

Finally, in Samba, the Full Dress Rehearsal took place at the Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium, where Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma hoisted the National Flag and took the salute at a parade that included contingents from the District Police, CRPF, IR Battalion, and local schools. The parade was commanded by DySP Bisham Dubey, and the event concluded with cultural performances by students and local artists, celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage.
