Jammu, April 9, 2026- The Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board has announced that registration for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 will commence from April 15 through all designated bank branches across the country.
The registration process will be open for both the traditional Pahalgam route and the shorter Baltal route, providing pilgrims with options based on preference and convenience.
As per the guidelines issued by the Shrine Board, no pilgrims below the age of 13 or above 70 years will be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage. Authorities have also made it mandatory for all applicants to submit a Compulsory Health Certificate issued by an authorised doctor or health institution designated by the Board at the time of registration.
Officials stated that the measures have been put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims undertaking the high-altitude journey. The annual yatra attracts thousands of devotees from across India and abroad, making it one of the most significant religious pilgrimages in the region.
The Shrine Board has urged prospective pilgrims to complete the registration process in advance and adhere strictly to the guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience.
