Rajouri, August 2, 2025-In a resounding call to patriotism and public participation, the District Administration Rajouri has officially launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the banner of the biggest Jan Bhagidari Andolan. This nationwide initiative will run from 2nd to 15th August 2025, encouraging every household to proudly hoist the Indian Tricolour in the spirit of unity, pride, and nationalism.
The campaign marks a significant step towards commemorating India’s 78th Independence Day by transforming the celebration into a people-driven movement. Citizens across the district are being urged to participate actively by displaying the national flag at their homes, workplaces, and public spaces — a gesture that symbolises our shared values, sacrifices, and democratic spirit.
“Let’s become proud volunteers of this historic Jan Bhagidari movement. Hoist the Tiranga at your home and inspire your neighbors to join in. Together, we celebrate not just a day, but the essence of freedom,” said a senior official from the Rajouri administration.
As part of the initiative, local schools, colleges, panchayats, and youth groups are also conducting awareness drives, flag distribution campaigns, and cultural events across the region. The District Information Centre Rajouri is also promoting the campaign through social media and ground outreach.
This public movement aligns with the Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, aimed at deepening the emotional connection of citizens with the national flag and bringing it closer to the hearts of the people.
Residents of Rajouri are showing overwhelming enthusiasm, with many already hoisting the Tricolour on their rooftops, balconies, and vehicles. Social media platforms are seeing a surge in photos and videos showcasing proud citizens celebrating the hues of unity and patriotism.
