Rajouri, November 12,2025: The Industrial Training Institute Rajouri, in collaboration with Mission Youth J&K, organized the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela to connect aspiring youth with industry experts and employment opportunities.
The initiative aims to strengthen the bridge between education and industry, helping students gain practical exposure while earning through skill-based apprenticeships.
Instructor Ankush Sharma said, “We organise a fair every three months to spread awareness about the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela. The Prime Minister’s vision is to produce 4–5 crore skilled workers by 2030. Any candidate willing to study and work can enroll in this scheme.”
He added that depending on the industrial requirements in each district, apprentices are connected with relevant employers. “The motto is simple — you are earning while learning, and this scheme is open to all age groups,” he said.
The mela witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, job seekers, and industry representatives, highlighting the growing momentum of skill development and youth empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir.
